Bochas

Bochas (ö. 537), Belisarius komutasındaki bir Hun muhafız subayıydı.

Bir zamanlar on iki Got askerine karşı tek başına dövüştü. Onu kuşattılar ve mızraklarıyla vurdular ama zırhı darbelere karşı dayandı. Gotlardan biri ona arkadan vurmayı başardı ve zırhı deldi. Etimoloji

İsmin Türkçe kökenli olması olasıdır. Günümüzdeki boğa kelimesinin tarihteki bir varyantı olan Buqa (buga) kelimesinden gelmektedir. Bu isim eski çağlardan beri Türkler tarafından sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır.[3]Maenchen-Helfen, Otto J.. The World of the Huns. Chapter IX. Language.
