# Sungur Türkçesi

**Sunguri** olarak da bilinen **Sungur Türkçesi**, İran, [Kirmanşah](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Kirman%C5%9Fah_%28il%29)'ın doğusunda bulunan [Sungur](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Sungur%2C_%C4%B0ran)'da konuşulan bir [Türk](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/T%C3%BCrk_dilleri) lehçesidir.[^1]

Türkolog Gerhard Doerfer, Sungur Türkçesini Azerbaycan dilinin olası bir lehçesi veya Güney Oğuz/Afşar'ın kendine özgü bir çeşidi olarak tanımlar. [Ethnologue](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Ethnologue) ve [Glottolog](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Glottolog) bu dili [Güney Azerbaycan](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Azerice) lehçesi olarak listeler.[^2][^3]

Sungur bölgesinde yaklaşık 40.000 Sungur Türkçesi konuşan kişi vardır.
