Simmas
Simmas, Bizans İmparatorluğu hizmetinde dux olarak görev yapan bir Hun generaliydi.[1]Malalas, John. Chronography Bks 1-7, 10-18. Topos Text. 6. yüzyılın başlarında Dara Muharebesi’nde aktif olarak görev aldı ve bir diğer Hun komutan Ascan ile birlikte altı yüz atlıya komuta ederek Bizans zaferinde önemli bir rol oynadı.
Biyografi
Dara Muharebesi’nde diğer Hun komutanları Aïgan, Ascan ve Sunicas ile birlikte Bizanslılar adına Sasani İmparatorluğu’na karşı savaştı. O ve Ascan sağ cenahtaki Hun süvari kuvvetlerini komuta ederken, Aigan ve Sunicas Hun süvarilerinin sol cenahını komuta ediyordu.[2]Davis, Paul.
