**Naat**, İslam Peygamberi [Muhammed](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Muhammed)'i övmek veya niteliklerini aktarmak amacıyla yazılan şiirdir. Kelime anlamı olarak "övmek, methetmek"tir. Naatları yazan kişilere [na’t-gü](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Na%E2%80%99t-g%C3%BC), naatları dinsel törenlerde okuyan kişilere de [na’t-han](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Na%E2%80%99t-han) denir. [Arif Nihat Asya](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Arif_Nihat_Asya)'nın "*Naat*" adlı şiiri bu türe bir örnektir.
