**Mirfatih Zekiyeviç Zekiyev** (**Зәкиев Мирфатых**) (14 Ağustos 1928 - 18 Ağustos 2023), Tatar [türkolog](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/T%C3%BCrkoloji), [düşünür](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Filozof), [dilbilimci](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Dilbilim) ve [öğretmen](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/%C3%96%C4%9Fretmen). [Tataristan Cumhuriyeti](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Tataristan) Bilimler Akademisi üyesidir.[^1]

[Tatarca](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Tatarca) ve diğer [Türk dilleri](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/T%C3%BCrk_dilleri) konusunda araştırmalar yapmıştır. Zakiev'in [Türk halkları](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/T%C3%BCrk_halklar%C4%B1) konulu çalışmaları da bulunmaktadır. Tatarcayı konu edinen en geniş kapsamlı yapıtlardan biri olan *Academic Grammar of the Tatar Language*e öncülük etmiştir.

Zakiev, Ön Türk dillerinin Hint Avrupa dillerinin çıkış noktası olduğunu iddia etmektedir. Zakiev'e göre, Sümerce, Antik Yunanca, İzlandaca, Etrüskçe ve Giritçe Türkçe kökenli dillerdi. Ayrıca Sümerler, İskitler ve Sarmatlar Türk kökenliydi. Zakiev, çoğunlukla [sözdebilim](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/S%C3%B6zdebilim)ci olarak kabul edilir.[^2][^3]
