[Ermeni Kırımı](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Ermeni_K%C4%B1r%C4%B1m%C4%B1)'nda öldürüldü.[^1][^2] ## Hayatı Keğam Parseğyan 1883 senesinde [Konstantiniyye](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Konstantinopolis)'deki (günümüzde İstanbul) [Gedikpaşa](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Gedikpa%C5%9Fa) semtinde doğdu. Semtteki Mesrobyan okuluna gitti ve 1896 yılında eğitimini [Karaköy](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Karak%C3%B6y)'deki [Getronagan Varjaran](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Getronagan_Ermeni_Lisesi)'da (Merkez Lisesi) devam etti. Sonra üniversitede okumak için Paris'e gitti.[^3] Paris'ten geri döndükten sonra İstanbul'da, *Surhandak* ve [*Azadamard*](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Azadamard) gazetelerin baş köşe yazarı ve editörü oldu. Ünlü yazarlar [Taniel Varujan](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Taniel_Varujan), [Hagop Oşagan](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Hagop_O%C5%9Fagan) ve [Gostan Zaryan](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Gostan_Zaryan) ile birlikte Mehian edebiyat dergisini kurdu. ## Öldürülüşü 1915 [Ermeni Soykırımı](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Ermeni_K%C4%B1r%C4%B1m%C4%B1) esnasında Keğam Parseğyan tutuklandı ve Ankara yakınlarındaki o zamanki [Ayaş](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Aya%C5%9F) köyüne götürüldü ve orada öldürüldü.[^4][^5][^6][^7] [^1]: 24 Nisan 1915’te ne oldu?. agos.com.tr, 30 Mayıs 2012.
