**Berbât**, [perdeli](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Perde_%28m%C3%BCzik%29) bir sazdır. [Kopuz](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Kopuz)a benzemektedir. 18. yüzyıla kadar Türkiye'de kullanılan berbât, eskiden en çok [İran](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/%C4%B0ran_m%C3%BCzi%C4%9Fi) ve [Azerbaycan](https://turkipedia.org/tr/wiki/Azerbaycan_m%C3%BCzi%C4%9Fi)'da kullanılmıştır.[^1] **Bârbed** ya da **bârbûd** adlarıyla da bilinmektedir.
