Norton & Company, 2010, s. 238, ISBN 978-0-393-05975-5 Kağan (Orta Çince: 頡跌伊施可汗 Pinyin: Jiédiēyīshī kèhán) ya da Alp Bilge Kağan (Orta Çince: 賀臘毗伽可汗 Pinyin: Hèlà Píjiā kèhán), Basmil Kağanlığı'nın Kağanıydı ve 742'de Basmıllar, Karluklar ve Uygurların Ozmış Kağan'a karşı çıkardığı isyanda seçilerek kağan ilan edildi. Asıl adı Aşina Shi olan Kağan, tahta çıktıktan sonra İlteriş Kağan[1]Kasai, Yukiyo (2014) "The Chinese Phonetic Transcriptions of Old Turkish Words in the Chinese Sources from 6th-9th Century Focused on the Original Word Transcribed as Tujue 突厥" in Studies of Inner Asian Languages 29. p. 125-133 of 57-135 ve Alp Bilge Kağan[1]Kasai, Yukiyo (2014) "The Chinese Phonetic Transcriptions of Old Turkish Words in the Chinese Sources from 6th-9th Century Focused on the Original Word Transcribed as Tujue 突厥" in Studies of Inner Asian Languages 29. p. 125-133 of 57-135 ünvanını aldı. 744 yılında Basmil hakimiyetinden çıkmak isteyen Karluklar ve Uygurlar tarafından öldürülmüştür.[3]Theobald, Ulrich. 742'de "İl-İtmiş Kağan" (İlteriş Kağan diye de okunmuştur[1]Kasai, Yukiyo (2014) "The Chinese Phonetic Transcriptions of Old Turkish Words in the Chinese Sources from 6th-9th Century Focused on the Original Word Transcribed as Tujue 突厥" in Studies of Inner Asian Languages 29. p. 125-133 of 57-135) sıfatı ile Çin İmparatoru ve özellikle Basmillerin desteği ile tahta çıkmıştır. İsyanlarla dolu bu dönemde, yaklaşık bir yıl hüküm sürebilmiştir.[2]Bauer, Susan Wise, „The History of the Medieval World: From the Conversion of Constantine to the First Crusade“ W. W. Norton & Company, 2010, s. 238, ISBN 978-0-393-05975-5 Ozmış Kağan'ın gizlice ülkeyi yeniden Çin'den bağımsız bir yapıya büründürme çalışmaları sonucunda, Göktürk Toyugunu (Göktürk Meclisi) tarafından tahttan indirilmiştir. Yerine Ozmış kağan olarak geçmiştir.[5]After the Turks.

Çula Kağan'ın torunu Aşina Wu Shi (勿施) ile karıştırılmamalıdır. Ashina (Wu) Shi 697 yılında ölmüştür.[6]唐代帝陵.
